You can use a blank plate to cover a switch or socket that’s you’re not using to make it safe and to protect it from dust and moisture.

They’re handy if you don’t want to or can’t plaster over the unused outlet.

Like all our switches and sockets, we’ve engineered this single blank plate to be as sleek as possible. The Antique Brass-finished front plate is just 1.5mm thick and sits flush to the wall. It attaches to the back plate using clips for a screwless look.

Antique Brass is what’s called a ‘living’ finish because it reacts to the air and moisture around it and gets darker over the first three months, especially in the areas you touch it most. We’ve also given it a head start by ageing it by hand before sending it out, so it has that antique look right out the box.
