Of the three finishes we offer on our solid brass products, Antique Brass is our only living finish. This means there’ll be some variation in colour, texture and patina straight out the box. We recommend ordering all Antique Brass products for your project together so they’re as consistent as possible and age similarly. Please see the materials and finishes section of our website for more details on our finishes.

Order eligibility
All European countries, excluding the UK and the Republic of Ireland, can order from this website. For customers based in the UK and the Republic of Ireland, please visit corston.com to place your order.

Stock availability
If you place an order with products that are both in and out of stock, we’ll ship the available items straight away. The remaining items will be shipped when they’re in stock.

We always aim to keep our website up to date with expected availability dates for items that are out of stock. We’ll let you know by email when out-of-stock items are available and dispatched.

We offer goods for sale through our website. We are price sensitive and strive to make our products high-quality and affordable. The prices and availability of goods are subject to change without notice.

We offer all our goods on a payment-with-order basis. This means you must pay us when you order. We can take payment by all major credit cards and debit cards and by PayPal. We’ll only accept your order if we receive the payment in full.  

Our customer service and trade team can also send a pro forma invoice to you for payment. If you’re working with a professional, we’d recommend having them check the pro forma before payment.

Sending your goods
Orders are assembled and packed at our workshop in Sosnowiec, Poland. We aim to dispatch all orders quickly (within 24 hours) using an express courier service. We’ll email you a link to track your delivery once your items are on their way.

For certain destinations, delivery may be outsourced to a third-party courier. If this is the case, you’ll be updated via the tracking link.

You might be asked to sign for your order, or the courier will use photo proof of delivery.

If you have any delivery concerns, please contact us as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we won't be responsible for any loss claims seven days after the order is shown as delivered. 

All quoted delivery times are subject to customs clearance, and we won’t be held responsible for any delays. Please contact our customer service team if you have any concerns. 

Receiving your goods
We ask that you check your goods as soon as possible after delivery. Unfortunately, we won’t be responsible for any issues not reported within 30 days of delivery. 

You can voluntarily cancel your order within two hours of purchase. If we haven’t already sent the goods out, we’ll issue a full refund (including delivery charges) to the credit card, debit card or PayPal account used to place your order. Your refund will be processed promptly, and within 10 days of cancellation.  

If we’ve dispatched the goods before you cancel your order, you can still request a refund by following our returns procedure or by refusing the delivery when it arrives. We’ll then process the refund within 10 days. If your order can’t be cancelled, you can still request a refund by following the returns procedure. All cancellations are accepted or rejected at our discretion. 

Amending orders 
We’re unable to amend orders once payment has been taken. If you need any further items, you’ll need to order these separately.  

Alternatively, if you contact us within our two-hour cancellation window, we can cancel your order in full. You can then place a new order at your convenience. 

We hope you’ll be really happy with your order, however, if there’s a problem, please let us know. You can return items within 60 days of the order date. Please pack the goods in a fully re-saleable condition in the original undamaged packaging.

By using the returns portal, you allow us access to and accountability for all tracking information. If you choose to use your own courier to return your items, please be aware that we won’t take responsibility for any loss or damage to the goods. 

Trade customer returns 
Customers who have made a purchase using a Corston trade account must return the goods within 60 days of the order date. Corston charges a restocking fee of 10% of the value of the products that are returned to cover repolishing, inspecting and repackaging. 

Installation and fitting 
Some of our products are relatively simple to fit and can be done by anyone proficient at DIY. However, some items are more complex to install. You’ll find instructions on our website, but we recommend using professional builders and electricians. Our electrical products must be installed in line with all applicable building regulations. 

If you’re using a professional to install our products, please make sure you have received the goods before you engage their services. We won’t be liable for any additional charges you may incur due to delivery delays. 

If you have any issues with your products, please get in touch with our customer service team. 

If you come across any material defects or faults with your items within the first year of use, we’ll be sure to replace them.

Our mistakes 
We’ve taken every care in the preparation of the content of this website. To the extent allowed by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, as to the accuracy of the information contained in any of the materials on this website.  

We won’t be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise from the use of any information contained in any of the materials on this website. We constantly update our products, and prices, designs and specifications are subject to change without notice.  

We always endeavour to display our products as accurately as possible, however, we realise that sometimes mistakes may occur. If we offer goods for sale incorrectly (incorrect price), we’ll always try to honour our offer. There may be rare circumstances where it’s not possible for us to do this. In these cases, we’ll contact you and explain the situation. If we can’t sort out the matter fairly with you, we can refuse your order and refund any payment you may have made. 

Product development and conformity of goods 
We never stop trying to perfect our products, which means designs, specifications, descriptions or prices could change at any time without notice. If you have any questions about this, please call or email us. 

Quality assurance 
We are both a product-focused and customer-focused business. We’ll always do our best to make sure our product descriptions and specifications are as accurate as possible. The photos on our website provide a good representation of our products, however, colours and appearance may differ when viewing on-screen. We’d suggest ordering samples to get a real feel for our finishes.  

If any of the products that we supply fail to perform satisfactorily due to faulty materials or workmanship, please contact us at any time and we’ll work with you to resolve the issue. This could mean supplying a replacement product or giving you a full or partial refund. Your rights, defined in the law are not affected by these terms. 

Legal responsibility 
Nothing in these terms should affect your legal rights or limit our legal responsibility for death, personal injury or fraudulent misrepresentation resulting from our negligence, or any other liability which we cannot limit or exclude by law.

We won’t compensate for delivery delays or failures that are outside our control. In these circumstances, we’ll limit what we pay you to a refund of the delivery charges you’ve paid. We won’t be legally responsible to you for any losses which both we and you could not expect at the time you bought the goods. If you’re a trade customer, we won’t be legally responsible to you for any business losses. 

Damage to your computer/device 
We make every effort to ensure that this website is free from viruses or defects. However, we can’t guarantee that your use of this website, or any website accessible through it, won’t cause damage to your device. It’s your responsibility to ensure that the right equipment is available to access the website and filter out anything that may damage it. We won’t be liable to any person for any loss of or damage to computer equipment as a result of using this website. 

Links to other websites 
We have placed links to our pages on other platforms including Pinterest and Instagram. We don’t vet these websites and don’t have any control over their contents. We cannot accept any liability in respect of the use of these websites. 

Ownership of rights 
All rights, including copyright on this website, are owned by or licensed to Corston. Any use of this website or its contents, including copying or storing it, or them in whole or in part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use is prohibited without the permission of Corston.

We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time and would suggest that you look through them as often as possible. 

This website, any content contained and usage of this website, are governed by and put together in accordance with Polish law. The law applicable to the contract between the Customer and the Company is Polish law.

Consumers may use the out-of-court method of considering a complaint and pursuing claims before the permanent consumer arbitration court at the Provincial Inspector of Trade Inspection in Poznań.
