The detailing on our Digby door handle makes it one of our more traditional styles, but its simplicity will work in modern spaces too.
This version includes a low-profile, short backplate for a slightly bolder look.
The handle comes with a fixed spindle that’s normally used on double doors to give a solid fix to the handle on the inactive door. You can push or pull it, but it won’t turn.
There’s also no danger of it coming away – the spindle is threaded onto the handle which holds it in place.
Antique brass is what’s called a ‘living’ finish because it reacts to the air and moisture around it, causing it to darken (especially in the areas you touch most). We’ve given it a head start by ageing it by hand, so it has that antique look right out the box.

Because our backplates are just 4mm in depth, we’ve designed the handle’s spring mechanism to recess into your door. You’ll need our 12mm template profiler router bit and flat plate routing jig to get the square pocket for the mechanism just right.
